Rollover Accident on Dixon Springs Circle

(Smith County Insider Press) Dixon Springs, Tenn. – Friday afternoon around 2:00 pm, Smith County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting a rollover accident on Dixon Springs Circle with possible entrapment. Smith County Rescue Squad and Riddleton/Dixon Springs Fire Department was dispatched to the scene along with Smith County EMS, Smith County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The driver of the vehicle was able to exit the vehicle before emergency personnel could arrive on scene. The driver of the vehicle was Michael Crenshaw, 46, of Hartsville. Crenshaw was driving a 2010 black Nissan pickup truck. Crenshaw turned off of Highway 25 onto Dixon Springs Circle when he lost control of his vehicle and exited the right side of the roadway. Upon exiting the roadway Crenshaw’s truck slid up a guide wire connected to an electric pole causing the truck to overturn.

Crenshaw was not injured in the accident.

Trooper Mark Jones of the Tennessee Highway Patrol worked the scene. Dale’s Towing and Recovery removed the vehicle from the scene.
