WASHINGTON, D.C.—On Monday, U.S. Representative John Rose (TN-06) met with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. The two discussed news of the day, issues facing Tennessee families, and conservative priorities in the months ahead. They also spoke about strategies for effectively communicating the many economic wins within the Working Families Tax Cuts that will take effect in the New Year.
Rep. Rose released the following statement:
“2026 is going to bring about real impactful economic change,” Rep. Rose said. “And it’s all because of the America First policies of the Trump Administration, including the Working Families Tax Cuts that he signed into law. I am proud to support his America First agenda, and I am eager to make sure word reaches Tennesseans that the Golden Age of America is on its way.”
The meeting primarily focused on the importance of cutting through Washington noise and ensuring that conservative policies—lower costs, energy independence, and accountable government—are communicated directly to the American people.
