April 23rd was the 1st Open House for reGROUP RECOVERY in Smith County. ReGroup is a Faith-Inspired recovery initiative serving the people of Smith County and surrounding counties in Tennessee. They strivee to serve the needs of those struggling in active addiction through meetings, accountability, and other services. ReGroup Recovery operates out of the UCHRA Office under the direction of Sammy Allen. His team also includes Recovery Coaching, Intake Coordinator, Peer Services and Community Outreach.
The event was held at 120 Pauline Gore Way Carthage, TN at the UCHRA Office. The event not only put a Spotlight on reGROUP RECOVERY who just celebrated their 1 year Anniversary but also the services offered within the UCHRA Office including H&G Staffing, Adult Education, Career Center and UCHRA. There are many services provided within the one office that sets in the Heart of Smith County.
Refreshments were provided for the guest along with a door prizes. The highlight of the day came when Mr. David Webb who operates The Orchard House in Milan, TN came to the event and donated a van so they can transport their clients.
