(Smith County Insider) Brush Creek, Tenn. – On Saturday, October 10, Deputy Campbell was passed by a vehicle on Highway 53 in Alexandria running 65mph in a 55mph zone. Deputy Campbell then proceeded to pursue the vehicle with lights and sirens. The vehicle sped up and refused to pull over. The vehicle turned several times traveling at a high rate of speed in attempt to lose the officer.
While traveling on Goose Creek road the car lost control of the vehicle and slid off the road. A male and female fled from the vehicle at which time Deputy Campbell pursued them on foot over a fence, through a creek, and then into the woods but visual on the suspects was lost. The I.D. and social security card of the female was found inside the vehicle as well as a baggie of Meth, two glass pipes, a set of scales, three hypodermic needles, and several unused baggies. Information was later gathered that identified the driver to be Warren Glasby and the passenger was identified as Amy Renee Ford. Warrants were obtained for both subjects and their arrests were made. They were transported to Smith County Jail Facility for booking.
