Pleasant Shade native Bryce Currie has been honored with a spot on the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Football Team. This recognition acknowledges his exceptional academic and athletic achievements during his time at Maryville College.
Currie, a versatile player, excelled as a deep snapper and linebacker, contributing 25 tackles, including 2.5 for loss, and tying for second on the team with six special teams tackles.
To qualify for this honor, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, be a sophomore or higher academically and athletically, and demonstrate high participation standards.
