‘Play Smith County’ Board Game Fundraiser for the Smith County Heritage Museum

December 2, 2021

The Smith County Heritage Museum is excited to announce “Play Smith County” a board game that is all about Smith County, Tennessee.

Local businesses sponsored the game board and in return, their businesses are the featured properties of the game and of what are called “Doubles Cards” which provide many twists and turns in the game. Each player begins with $250,000 of game money and has the chance to buy real estate and upgrade their properties as the game is played. Players roll dice to determine how far they advance and draw cards to face different obstacles or benefits throughout the game.

These “Play Smith County” Game Boards are available for purchase for $40 each at the Smith County Heritage Museum.

The Smith County Heritage Museum is located at 107 3rd Avenue East in Carthage, Tennessee. The museum is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call 615-735-1104.

In addition to the board game, the museum also has mugs, T-shirts, hats, toboggans, all natural soaps & lotions, cutting boards, ornaments, and much more that would make great Christmas gifts.

The Smith County Heritage Museum invites you to stop by, tour the museum, and do a little shopping. All of the proceeds goes towards the operational expenses of the museum to ensure that it stays open for years to come.
