On Saturday, November 2, 2019, the New Middleton Masonic Lodge #249 will host its 1st Annual Turkey Shoot. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and the first round fires at 11:00 a.m.
There will be three divisions and four classes per division.
Divisions:
- .22LR (Open Sights) – 25 yards
- .22LR (Scoped) – 50 yards
- Shotgun – 32 yards
Classes:
- Youth (12 and under)
- Teen
- Ladies
- Adult
Bring your own gun—.22LR, 12 gauge, 16 gauge, 20 gauge, .410 shotgun. No shotgun barrels over 36 inches. No scopes on shotguns. No choke modifications. A 20 gauge shell must fit into the muzzle of all 12 gauge shotguns. Adjustable chokes are accepted.
Ammunition will be provided by the Lodge. All targets will be 6 inch “chigger dot” still-board targets.
$5 per shot. 10 shooters per round. Closet pellet or bullet to center dot wins the round.
Winner of each round wins choice of turkey or ham (as available).
A hot dog lunch will be provided for a $5 donation.
No alcohol or outside ammunition will be allowed at the event.
