Mr. Paul Hackett
Mr. Paul Hackett, age 76 of Tanglewood, died Friday morning, March 31, at his home. He is survived by: wife, Frances Hackett; daughter, Martha Holladay and husband Ricky of Gordonsville; granddaughter, Elizabeth Rockwell and husband Patrick of Brentwood; great-granddaughter, Caroline Grace Rockwell; 2 sisters, Mary Woodard and husband Billy of Nashville, Linda McDonald and husband L. B. of Carthage; mother-in-law, Christine McDonald of Carthage.
Mr. Hackett is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, April 2, at 3:00 PM. Eld. Charles Allen Gentry and Bro. Zary Shealey will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jimmy Gregory officiating. Serving as active pallbearers are: Dick Fulton, Tom White, Gerald Piper, L. Glenn Pettross, Jacky Carver Sr. C. E. Hackett, Jack Pettross, Jacky O. Bellar, Larry T. Wilkerson, Phillip Upchurch. Honorary pallbearers are: Employees and Board of Directors of Citizens Banks of Carthage, Gordonsville, South Carthage, Cookeville and Sparta, Dr. Gordon Petty, Ann Birdwell Dobson, Phillip Hudson, W. G. Birdwell, Jr, George McDonald, Sue Birdwell Ishee, Roy Carr and John Knowles.
Visitation will begin on Saturday from noon until 7:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM until 2:45 PM.
The family has requested memorials to the Jordan Hackett Foundation.
