Morrison Arrested for Methamphetamine Sales

On February 11th a white Jeep Liberty was observed by Sgt. Junior Fields pulling into the gravel area near the Gordonsville McDonalds. Sgt. Fields proceeded to investigate based on prior information regarding the vehicle and suspicion related to drug sales. Contact was made with the driver who was identified as Eric Morrison. Morrison was advised of his Miranda Rights and the purpose of the investigation. The vehicle was searched leading to the discovery 7.76 grams of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The vehicle and the $40 Morrison was carrying at the time was seized in accordance with the Tennessee Seizure and Forfeiture Laws due to it being used to facilitate drug deals as well as it being potential proceeds from illegal drug sales. Morrison was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent to use and driving while in possession of methamphetamine.
