On December 25, 2021 Deputy Dillon Sandlin was called to assist Deputy Dallas Eddie in a traffic stop. The sole occupant of the vehicle, Mr. William Starnes, gave consent to search the vehicle. The search revealed a glass pipe containing residue, a baggie containing 1 gram of a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine, a cut straw with residue inside, and an additional bag of the crystal like substance. Mr. Starnes admitted to the aforementioned items having belonged to him. He was advised of his rights and placed until arrest.
Mr. Starnes is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
