On November 15th, 2021, Sgt. Junior Fields and Deputy Dillon Sandlin responded to assist Officer Parker Thomas on a reported motorist assist on Bradford Hill Rd. Upon arrival, contact was made with Mr. Slaughter and Officer parker.
Mr. Slaughter stated that he had been driving and his truck had broken down. He had drank alcohol previously. He admitted to having Xanax. A search revealed that he had three Xanax bars, pills, and a small baggie of meth.
He was placed under arrest and transferred to regional Medical for a blood draw. His license was found to be revoked as well out of Rutherford County.
He is being charged with driving on revoked, possession of controlled substances, possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence.
He is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
