(Smith County Insider Press) South Carthage, Tenn. – During routine patrols, Officer Heath Willard of the South Carthage Police Department noticed a vehicle traveling on Highway 70 with its headlight out. Officer Willard initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Scottie Dale Grisham.
Officer Willard asked for consent to search Grisham’s vehicle and consent was given. Deputy Nick Gillian of the Smith County Sheriff’s Department arrived on scene to assist with the search. During the search, officers found a cigarette pack containing 20 Oxycodone pill. Grisham allegedly admitted the pills were his and that he did not have a prescription for them.
Scottie Dale Grisham was arrested and transported to Smith County Jail Facility for booking.
Grisham was charged with Possession of Schedule II Drugs.
On March 25, Scottie Dale Grisham was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Reckless Endangerment, Manufacturing/Delivering/Selling of a Controlled Substance. See story below:
