Trooper Jeff Phann, an agent with THP’s immigration customs, interviewed a man, identified as 42-year-old Marcos Pablo Marcos of Monterey, Tennessee, on Wednesday, October 26.
According to Phann’s report, Marcos, who’s been in the U.S. since 2004, stated that he had purchased a birth certificate and a social security card to obtain a Tennessee ID. He presented the purchased IDs to gain employment at Shiroki in Gordonsville, according to the report.
Marcos was placed under arrest and transported to the Smith County Jail Facility for booking.
He is charged with criminal simulation, theft of identity and forgery.
