
On July 25th, 2021, Deputy Matt White initiated a traffic stop when he noticed a truck with a brake light out speeding. Upon making contact with the driver, Mr. Frederick Keith, he noticed a bottle cap with a piece of cotton in it, which is common for drawing up narcotics.
He asked Mr. Keith to exit the vehicle. After searching his person, knives, syringes, and a bag of methamphetamine was found. A search of the vehicle was conducted, and additional syringe was found along with metamphetamine.
Mr. Keith is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and he was issued a citation for speeding and light law.
Mr. Keith is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
