As some of you may know, Smith County Insider celebrated its 4th birthday on June 22, 2019!
Smith County Insider was created in June 2015 to address a need for up-to-date, real-time news in Smith County. Since our inception, we have continually strived to be the leading news provider here in Smith County.
We have grown more than we could have imagined over the last four years. Last month, we broke a viewer record with over 500 people watching our live stream meeting coverage at one time, and we have recently hit 10,000 Facebook followers. Wow!
Since we first launched our website, Smith County Insider has been fully funded by the amazing businesses and organizations who support us through advertising. Our advertisers allow us to provide the citizens of Smith County with real-time, up-to-date news for free.
Our goal is to always keep Smith County Insider free for everyone to read.
