(Smith County Insider Press) Carthage, Tenn. – Less than one month to qualify for the August 4th General Election. The qualifying deadline is April 7th at 12 noon. The election will consists of the State Primary Election and the Smith County General Election. The following is a list of positions that will be up for election.

Petitions are available at the Smith County Election Office, located at 122 Turner High Circle, Suite 105.
