Jeepers Creepers is a free event that takes place on the Carthage Town Square on October 31st from 5pm to 8pm. It is sponsored by the Smith County Chamber of Commerce and Town of Carthage. The aim is to provide a safe and fun environment for the children of Smith County to come and receive the traditional candy offerings for the season. If you wish to participate as a “giver” please contact the Smith County Chamber of Commerce and register your vehicle for free and then show up before 4:30pm to set up on the Square.
If you are a parent then just come to the square anytime from 5 pm to 8 pm and let your children enjoy the night. There will be a costume contest at 4:30 pm on the Courthouse steps, sponsored by Wish 86.
