Gordonsville High School’s Sophie Linder captured the individual gold medal for the second year in a row at the 2020 TSSAA Small Class Girls’ Golf Championship.
She shot six-under par (-6) for the thirty-six hole tournament held over two days. Her superb performance included one eagle, five birdies, and twenty-nine pars to lead the field. She distanced herself from the rest of the participants with a five-stroke win over the second-place finisher.
Also this year, she won the Individual 2020 Region 4 Golf Championship.
The TSSAA Small Class Girls’ Golf Championship was held on September 29th and 30th at WillowBrook Golf Club in Manchester, TN.
