Gordonsville High School FCCLA, Art Club and S.A.D.D. clubs will host an Empty Bowls and Lead to Feed event on Saturday, January 21, 2023 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Individuals, families and groups can can make a pottery bowl and/or purchase some soup to help feed the hungry. All proceeds from the Empty Bowls Project and Lead to Feed Soup Sale will benefit local food banks.
The Empty Bowls Project will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m. During this time, your family or group can make pottery bowls in the Gordonsville Art Room. The cost to make a bowl is $10 per artist. Each pottery class will begin on the hour. Sign up quickly to reserve your space!
If you come to make pottery during the Empty Bowls Project, you can also take home dinner for your family at the Lead to Feed Soup Sale. GHS FCCLA is planning to cook up plenty of delicious soup that will be available for $7 per quart.
You can choose potato soup, or taco soup. All soup will be available for pickup during pottery class times.
