The Smith County Health Department is offering drive-thru flu vaccines at no charge to patients. The vaccines are available on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:00 pm through 4:00 pm. A drive-thru will be set up in from of the Health Department building. No appointment is necessary.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Tennessee Department of Health recommend that everyone six months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every year.
