The Smith County High School Band, the “Pride of the Upper Cumberland,” will be hosting its First Annual Color Run on Saturday, April 23, 2016. It will begin at 10:00 AM at the Courthouse Square. Both 5k and 10k routes will be available for runners, joggers, walkers, and anything in between!
Registration is $25 for the 5K and $30 for the 10K. Registration includes a t-shirt, participation medal, and a very nice goodie bag. Current Smith County students will receive a $5 discount on either race.
As this is a color run, we will have stations where color powder will be sprayed on the runners. However, you do have the option of avoiding the color if you choose.
Registration forms are available at every county school. You also have the option of registering online at www.active.com. Proceeds from the Color Run are being used to purchase brand new uniforms for the Pride of the Upper Cumberland.
