On Monday, March 27, at 11:40 am Smith County 911 received a call reporting a small camper fire at 430 Pea Ridge Road. The caller reported that the fire was spreading toward a vacant two-story home.
Central District, Forks River, Lancaster, and Rock City Fire Departments responded to the scene. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to a nearby residence.
