Upper Cumberland Electric released the following statement on their website today:
There will be a power outage starting around 4:30-5:30 pm. The outage will last approximatley 1 hour. The areas that will be affected will be the following: Carthage, South Carthage. Defeated, Pleasant Shade, Dixon Springs, Riddleton, Rome, Elmwood, Chestnut Mound, and Brush Creek. We are working to restore the service as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The outage is estimated to last up to one hour.
