on July 19th, 2021, K9 Sgt. Ridge Long encountered a vehicle parked at a gas pump in Gordonsville with the driver asleep/ unconscious. During contact with the driver, Mr. Terrence D Claybrooks, he observed a clear glass pipe laying in plain view on the center console. Mr. Claybrooks was detained and a vehicle search was conducted.
The search revealed 1.99 grams of methamphetamine and 98 gabapentin. Mr. Claybrooks stated that he did not have a current prescription for gabapentin. He was placed under arrest.
He is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, Felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of narcotics.
He is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
