Dr. Manny Sethi, conservative candidate for U.S. Senate, visited Smith County on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. He met with Mayor Jeff Mason and toured the County Courthouse.
He also spoke with the Smith County Drug Prevention staff about their work. Dr. Manny founded the nonprofit Healthy Tennessee with his wife, and the Smith County Drug Prevention team attended two opioid summits put on by Healthy Tennessee in 2018 and 2019.
Dr. Manny Sethi is an orthopedic trauma surgeon. He was raised in Coffee County and after studying to become a doctor, Dr. Manny returned home to Tennessee to impact change in healthcare and education. He is married to Maya.
