On February 26th, Sergeant Matt White and Deputy Jordan Green responded to a domestic disturbance on I-40. Upon arrival contact was made with Mrs. Jodi Davidson. She explained that a belt broke on her son’s vehicle which they were both riding in. Davidson indicated that her son struck her physically. Davidson´s son indicated to Deputy Green that she had struck him physically first. He also added during the statement that his mother was carrying drugs inside the vehicle.
After questioning about the drugs, Davidson initially indicated that it was paint stripper, however it was determined that the substance was Gamma-Hydroxybutyric Acid, commonly known as a date rape drug. The vehicle was towed due to the keys being thrown in the woods during the argument. Mrs Davidson was sent to the Smith County Jail for processing and was charged with Possession 1.
