GORDONSVILLE, Tenn.—On the evening of Tuesday, September 25, 2018, firefighters from the Carthage and Gordonsville City Fire Departments gathered in Gordonsville as the City of Carthage officially presented a sign to the Gordonsville Fire Department for display at the city’s new fire hall.

Construction on the new Gordonsville Fire Hall began in spring 2018, and crews are currently in the process of putting finishing touches around the outside of the structure.

The opening of the new Fire Hall will mark the first change in location for the Gordonsville Fire Department since its inception in 1966.
