Two brothers who have had a passion for the automotive industry since childhood are excited to introduce Mid-South Auto Center at 122 Dixon Springs Highway, Carthage, TN 37030. The Auto Center offers vehicle sales, rentals and service & repair.
About a year ago an opportunity arose that the brothers could not pass up. They explained that “after researching and looking for over a year we jumped on the opportunity to purchase Donoho’s Muffler Shop from Dakota Pitman.” With the goal to grow and have more options for customers they added tires and became a Tire Pros. “The wonderful customers and Donoho’s team have made it possible to take the next step in our journey to become the one location you will need for all your automotive concerns” the brothers shared.
As kids, Mike and Nick Vallis grew up working on their go karts, mini bikes, and dirt bikes.In his teen years Mike worked as a parts counter person at a local parts store. In his early twenties he became a service writer at a GMC dealer. With larger aspirations he quickly outgrew this role and moved to a management position with a local independent repair facility. With over 27 years of automotive experience, it was time to take the next step.Nick started his automotive career as a parts driver for a GMC dealer, he worked his way up the ladder to become the parts manager of the dealership. With bigger goals he took a position as the store manager for an independent automotive repair facility.

The stated that they enjoy the freedom that owning a business provides. “Especially a business that aligns with your hobbies. We love cars!”
In December 2022 Mike and Jane Shoulders offered the Vallis brothers the opportunity to purchase their dealership and rental fleet. They are currently open for Rentals and Repair. In the near future they hope to continue Used Vehicle sales and they be adding a larger repair shop on the eastern side of the lot, once the building is complete, we will be combining the two locations (Donoho;s and Shoulders) into one.
