After 20 years of corporate accounting experience, Leslie Smith is excited to offer a one-stop shop for all of the day to day needs to local businesses with Leslie Smith Bookkeeper, LLC. Leslie services most businesses virtually and offers a professional consultation to determine the needs of each client either via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or in person. Providing services virtually allows her to provide a variety of services to various clients and businesses the opportunity to keep up their books without the overhead of an on-site employee.
Although she can assist clients with the preparation of their financial package to facilitate a meeting with tax professionals, Leslie Smith does not file taxes. She provides services using a variety of platforms including QuickBooks, NetSuite, JDE, and Great Plains. She shares, “I am an advanced Microsoft Excel User. I am a great data miner. I love creating reports, payroll and standard operating procedures. In addition to my love for all things accounting, I am a Notary Signing Agent.” Leslie is a certified member of the National Notary Association. She can assist with General Notary assignments as well as Real Estate Closings. She is insured and bonded according to the guidance of the state of Tennessee.
She said she loves meeting new folks. “As a National Signing Agent, you never know what the day will bring you. I have been able to cross paths with many folks in their personal and professional lives in the past year.” In the future she hopes to continue to grow the business, add to her staff and give back to the community. She has a special interest in helping young adults and teens learn more about personal finance and budgeting and hopes to integrate that into her future plans.
