Business Spotlight: Carthage Barber Shop

November 13, 2021

Smith County welcomes a new business: Carthage Barber Shop. It is located at 104 Main Street North in Carthage with operating hours of Tuesday- Friday from 8am-5pm and Saturday from 6am-2pm.

Business owner, Logan Dickens, grew up in Smith County and has been a Barber for little over three years. He graduated from Barber School in Nashville, and has always had the goal of opening his own shop in his hometown, Carthage. He wants to give people a different Barbershop experience than what they’re use to. Logan enjoys taking care of his clients and offering the best service!

Carthage Barber Shop strives to make everyone feel welcome as soon as they come through the door. They offer shampoos, hair cuts, straight razor shaves, and charcoal masks, all in a “man cave” atmosphere. They want their clients to receive excellent service and a fun experience. They plan to add more interactive activities at the shop for clients waiting for their haircut/service. Currently they have a pool table, TV and couches, and a toy box for kids. Logan tells us that in the future, he plans to offer a concession stand, shuffle board table, and video game station. They are currently accepting appointments as well as walk-ins.
