On Sunday, December 1, 2019, Bass Funeral Home will host its annual Remembrance Service at the Smith County Ag Center. Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. and the service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
This special service is designed so that families can take time out of the busy holiday season to remember those they have lost.
Brother Tim Frank with Carthage First Baptist Church will be the speaker for the evening. Tim is the pastor of First Baptist Church in Carthage. He has a Master of Divinity in Religious Education degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He has been the pastor at FBC Carthage since 2008. Brother Tim has been holding GriefShare over the past couple of years and has most recently provided the community with a “surviving the holidays” seminar.
Those who attend the service are encouraged to bring a picture of their loved one to set on a remembrance table, where the pictures will be displayed throughout the service.
At the service, Bass Funeral Home will be providing a memorial “Guardian Angel” ornament to every family they served in 2019.
Join Bass Funeral Home in creating new Christmas traditions by recalling precious memories and honoring loved ones at the Remembrance Service.
