The Carthage Junction Depot will host an exhibit of art by brothers and business partners, Micheal and Paul Bielaczyc on Saturday, August 17 from 10-4pm.
Michael and Paul have been making art together since they were kids, entering art contests at Walmart to win gift certificates to buy GI Joes and Transformers. As adults, they formed Aradani Studios in 2002 and started traveling the continent selling their artwork. They have worked together in various media, from magazines to roleplaying games. Their day job, making Elf Ears for Aradani (which is, another story), affords them the luxury to make the art they love without having to rely on illustration jobs or freelance contracts. This has created an assortment of work in varying styles, all along avenues of love and excitement of the siblings. They have been making this work together for 20 years, and look forward to 40 more.
Michael enjoys spending time on his land here in Smith County and is a wonderful addition to our growing arts community. Come meet the artists and welcome them to the neighborhood. Their art and books will be available for purchase, but the exhibit is free and open to the public from 10-4pm. The Carthage Junction Depot is located at 185 Gordonsville Hwy, right beside the soccer fields.
