Smith County Insider will be hosting its first annual “All I Want for Christmas” contest. Participants will need to video their child expressing what he or she would like for Christmas, upload that video to YouTube, and email us the link at contactus@smithcountyinsider.com. You will also need to list the child’s name and age in the email along with a phone number to contact in the event that your child is selected to win. By submitting your video, you will be giving Smith County Insider permission to publish your child’s video to our website and social media accounts. There will be two age groups including ages 2-5 and ages 6-10. A first place winner will be chosen on Sunday, December 20. The first place winner in each category will receive a $50 gift card to Wal-Mart. All videos must be submitted by Friday, December 18 at 6:00pm. The videos will be judged based on the child’s personality, creativity, and presentation. Please see the list of rules and conditions below. Rules and Conditions:
Only one child is allowed per video. Video should be less than three minutes.
Video must be uploaded to YouTube.
Absolutely no nudity or profanity of any kind is allowed.
In order to submit a video of a child you must be the child’s parent or legal guardian.
By submitting a video you are giving parental consent to Smith County Insider to publish the video to our website and social media accounts.
Anyone who violates the rules of the contest will be disqualified.
Smith County Insider reserves the right to use discretion in the event that an unforeseen issue with the contest occurs which is not limited to cancelation in the event that there are not enough participants to conduct a fair and equal contest.
