The Carthage Community Blood Program was held Monday, May 4, 2026, at Carthage United Methodist Church, bringing together local volunteers, business leaders, and donors in support of the ongoing need for lifesaving blood donations across the region.
The community event was organized in partnership with American Red Cross and welcomed donors from across Smith County and beyond who gave blood to help hospitals maintain critical blood supplies.

Community leaders praised the strong turnout and continued support shown by local residents who regularly participate in blood drives to help patients in need. Organizers noted that every donation can make a significant difference for individuals facing medical emergencies, surgeries, cancer treatments, and other critical health conditions.
The Carthage Community Blood Program continues to serve as an important community effort, encouraging residents to give back through volunteerism and blood donation while helping meet the ongoing demand for blood products throughout Tennessee and beyond.
