2020 Smith County Fair Schedule of Events

This year’s Smith County Fair on the River will be held June 29 thru July 4, 2020. You can check out the complete schedule of events below or at https://smithcountyfairtn.net/schedule/.

Some events have been canceled or changed due to COVID-19, but this year’s fair promises to be as exciting as ever! You don’t want to miss classic events like the Demolition Derby, the Fireworks Show, and Fairest of the Fair Pageants.

The 2020 Fair on the River will have no shortage of live entertainment. Check out the Carthage Rotary Club Stage and the Wilson Bank & Trust Community Kid’s Stage for nightly performances! On Thursday, July 2, Jake Hoot, winner of Season 17 of The Voice, will take the stage inside the Smith County Ag Center.

Saturday, June 27

  • 7:00 a.m. – Warrior by the River Mud Run
  • 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Homemade Wine Contest Entries
  • 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Ham, Bacon, and Jowl Show
  • 3:00 p.m. – Antique Car, Truck, Bike Show, and Swap Meet | Registration – 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Judging – 6:00 p.m. | Awards 7:00 p.m.
  • 3:00 p.m. – Decorated Round Hay Bale Competition
  • 4:00 p.m. – Archery Competition (CANCELED)

  • 6:00 p.m. – Miss Fairest of the Fair (Ages 16-20)
  • 6:00 p.m. – Flat Track 4-Wheeler Races
  • 7:00 p.m. – David Turner and Friends – Ventriloquist at Wilson Bank Community Kids Stage
  • 7:00 p.m. – Kids Olympics | Registration – 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. | Olympics start promptly at 7:00 p.m.
  • 7:00 p.m. – The Britton Family, Travis Alltop & Friends, and Chigger Hill Boys & Terri at the Carthage Rotary Club Music Stage
  • 8:00 p.m. – Miss Teen Fairest of the Fair (Ages 13-15)
