(Smith County Insider Press) Gordonsville, Tenn. – On Friday night, April 29 the Smith County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting loud noise on Dry Fork Road.
Upon arrival in the area of the noise complaint, deputies located where the noise was coming from. A group of young adults and juveniles were having a bonfire in a field. Officers reported that there was beer and liquor present at the scene. There were a total of 17 individuals arrested and 3 of them were juveniles. The other 14 individuals were between the ages 18-20.
All of them were placed under arrest and transported to Smith County Jail Facility for booking. All of the individuals were charged with Violation of Drinking Age Law and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
