The 14th annual Race for Jordan is set to take place, rain or shine, Saturday, May 6.
Jordan Cage Hackett, son of Stephen and Karen Hackett, was born June 7, 2002, with a heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He passed away on October 14, 2002, following his second open-heart surgery.
The Jordan Hackett Foundation has helped countless families over the years through donations made by friends of family of Jordan who support and participate in the annual 5K run/walk the first Saturday in May, each spring.
Donations are contributed to the Ronald McDonald House and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, as well as through donations given at Smith County High School and Gordonsville High School.
