River City Ball, Inc. is accepting applications from organizations interested in becoming the beneficiary of its 2027 event. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on November 2, 2026.
Applicants must also prepare a presentation, either in person or by video, to present to the board at 6 p.m. on November 2. Presentations should go beyond the information included in the application and offer the board something memorable that helps the applicant stand out.
River City Ball’s mission is to support ongoing efforts of local community projects and organizations that work to improve the quality of life in Smith County. The organization envisions a community where neighbors support one another, generosity creates opportunities, and local causes receive the resources they need to strengthen the community.

In addition to seeking its next beneficiary, River City Ball is inviting individuals and businesses to support the 2027 event through sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $5,000, with opportunities for presenting sponsors, event sponsors, and other supporters to receive recognition through event signage, printed programs, social media, and other promotional opportunities. Some sponsorships also include reserved seats or tables at the Ball.
