CARTHAGE, Tenn. – The Keep Smith County Beautiful Committee is inviting residents to roll up their sleeves and make a difference during its upcoming Community Cleanup Day on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will take place at The Spot in Carthage, located at 108 Ward Avenue East, and promises to be a day of service, community pride, and working together to make Smith County a cleaner, greener place to call home.
Residents of all ages are encouraged to participate in this family-friendly event. Whether you’re looking to give back to your community, teach your children the importance of volunteering, or simply lend a helping hand, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact.
To make participation easy, safety vests and gloves will be provided to volunteers, along with light snacks and bottled water.
The committee hopes to bring neighbors together with a shared goal of creating cleaner streets, greener spaces, and a brighter future for Smith County.
Under the message “Clean Communities Build Stronger Communities,” the event serves as a reminder that even small acts of service can make a big difference when a community comes together.
