The Smith County Owls were unable to break their losing streak, losing on the road to the Sequatchie County Indians 41-21.
Smith County went down by a touchdown early, but were able to bounce back with a score of their own to tie the game at 7-7. Sequatchie County bounced back with a score of their own before the end of the first quarter to take a 14-7 lead. The Owls tied it back up at 14, but the Indians were able to score again to take a 21-14 lead into halftime.
The Indians pulled away in the fourth quarter, going up 34-14 before the Owls were able to score a touchdown. Sequatchie County bounced back to take a 41-21 lead, to wrap up the scoring for the game and drop the Owls to 1-5 on the year.

The Owls have their Homecoming game next Friday against Dekalb County.
