The Smith County Democrats hosted a booth at Heritage Day in Granville on Saturday, May 26. Many candidates visited the booth during the day including Mary Alice Carfi, Merrilee Wineinger, Karl Dean and Dawn Barlow.
Several local candidates put in appearances including Ron Shumake (County Commissioner District 1) and Greta Kirby (County Commissioner District 2). The Bredesen campaign donated a number of t-shirts which were gone by lunch time. Voter registration forms were available as well as materials from each of the candidates’ campaigns.
