The Smith County Cattlemen’s Association will host an Open Beef & Steer Show on Saturday, May 6th at the Smith County Ag Center, located at 159 Ag Center Lane in Carthage. Showman ship starts at 11:30am, and check-in is from 9am-11am. There will be prizes won for showmanship and prize money for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Commercial heifers and steers will be shown by weight, and bulls registered heifers will be classified by age. Please flyer for rules.
