Museum seeks artifacts about Nobel Peace Prize winners, Cordell Hull and Al Gore Jr.

The Smith County Heritage Museum is asking the citizens of Smith County to submit for a new display articles/artifacts related to our two county’s Nobel Prize Winners: former Secretary of State and “Father of the United Nations” Cordell Hull and former Vice President and Humanitarian Al Gore, Jr.

Items donated will be displayed in the museum with acknowledgement of the owner.

Please bring your items to the museum on any Thursday, Friday, or Saturday between 10:00am and 2:00pm. The address is 107 3rd. Ave. E. Carthage.

It is always the goal of the Smith County Heritage Museum to focus on the history of our county and to assure that every experience and visit is as interesting and fresh as possible. Please help us by placing your items in our care.
