(Smith County Insider Press) Brush Creek, Tenn. — On Friday night, January 12, Smith County 911 received a call reporting a possible structure fire on Brush Creek Circle. Sykes, New Middleton, and Central District Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene. 
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a two story brick home engulfed in flames. The fire is believed to have originated from the back porch of the home. No one was injured in the fire.
It took several hours for firefighters to fully extinguish the blaze.
According to the Tennessee Property Data website, the owners of the home are JC and Pat Allen.
