September 10, 2018

Are you concerned about drug abuse in Smith County? The Smith County Drug Prevention Coalition and the Gordonsville Church of the Nazarene are partnering to host a documentary screening and discussion from 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

Featured speakers will be Judge Michael Collins, Randy Wakefield, and Barbara Kannapel.

An Appalachian Dawn will be shown at this event. This documentary tells the true story of how a group of Christians in Clay County, Kentucky, untied in prayer to win the war against their county’s drug epidemic.

All members of Smith County churches are invited to attend this informative event to learn how their home churches can join the fight against drug abuse.

Prayer packets will be handed out on Wednesday night, and training/overdose prevention kits will be available following the service.
