Carthage Pavilion Senior Living releases Lip Sync Video in celebration of National Assisted Living Week 2018

September 18, 2018

Last Friday, Carthage Pavilion Senior Living participated in the latest viral internet trend and released a Lip Sync Challenge video of their own.

During the video, Pavilion staff and residents dance and sing to the tunes of “We Are Family,” “Can’t Touch This,” and “Happy” while showing off the facility. At the end, they challenge Pavilion Senior Living in Lebanon to participate in the challenge, too.

“Celebrating Assisted Living Week has been full of fun activities and we wanted to end the week with a bang!” staff from The Pavilion wrote in a post on their Facebook page. “We are showing everyone how much fun can be had in Senior Living, and supporting Alzheimer’s Awareness by wearing our purple shirts!”

This year’s National Assisted Living Week took place on September 9-15, 2018.

Established by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) in 1995, National Assisted Living Week provides a unique opportunity for residents, their loved ones, staff, volunteers, and the surrounding communities to recognize the role of assisted living in caring for America’s seniors and individuals with disabilities. The annual observance encourages assisted living communities around the country to offer a variety of events and activities to celebrate the individuals they serve, as well as to help educate members of the public about this distinctive aspect of long term care.
