TBI called to investigate murder in South Carthage
At the request of 15th District Attorney General Tommy Thompson, TBI Agents are working alongside the Smith County Sheriff’s Department and the South Carthage Police Department to investigate the apparent homicide of a man, identified as Jason Taylor Neusse (DOB: 8/12/75). Authorities found his body earlier today at a location in the 100 block of Hunter Avenue in South Carthage (near Rackley Roofing) in a building that was formerly a tobacco warehouse. As part of this investigation, the TBI has mobilized a team of Forensic Scientists to assist in processing the scene. The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.
