Smith County Veterans Day Parade set for Sunday, November 10

The Annual Smith County Veterans Day Parade will take place on Main Street in Carthage at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

Leading this year’s parade will be the Smith County High School Band, the Gordonsville High School Band, and Scouts from Smith County.

The Loud-N-Obnoxious Cruisers Antique Car Club from Lebanon, Tennessee, will also be part of this year’s parade with 20 antique automobiles.

Parade line-up begins at 2:00 p.m. on Carmack Avenue.

A Veterans Program will be held following the parade at the Historic Smith County Courthouse. Retired Army Master Sergeant Stephen Bell will be the special guest speaker. Other guests will include the Smith County Mayor and the Mayors of Carthage, Gordonsville, and South Carthage.
