On Thursday, March 7, 2019, the Smith County Drug Prevention Coalition will host a “Hope for the Hurting” event to discuss the epidemic of addiction. The event will be held at the Smith County Chamber of Commerce.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Jamie Harper, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. Jamie is the Regional Faith-Based Community Coordinator in the Middle Tennessee Grand Division.
A panel of local and state drug prevention specialists will also speak at the event.
Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m. The program will begin at 6:00 p.m.
