The Smith County Read to Be Ready Summer Program ended with soaking children and smiling faces last Thursday, June 28, 2018.
The camp teamed up with the Carthage Fire Department in not only ensuring the kids had a good time, but also hoping that the kids learned a little more about their local Fire Department.
Smith County Insider Reporter JR Smith had the opportunity to sit down with a few of the people who helped make the event happen, as well as some children who were glad the event took place.
